A few years back when we moved into our uni flat in Dunedin, we discovered a ‘MallowPuff’ nailed to the kitchen wall. Beneath it was a sign that read: ‘The MallowPuff that must never be touched.’ So we didn’t. That biscuit oversaw our lives for the next 3 years. It survived countless house parties, multiple attacks of the munchies and several landlord inspections. The longer it survived the more its legend grew. After a while people simply referred to our house as ‘Mallowpuffs’. No one ever questioned the role of this Mallowpuff in our lives. They couldn’t. It was bigger than all of us. But one thing’s for certain, when I buy my own house the first thing I’m going to do is nail a biscuit to the wall. And God help anyone who touches it.

WOW! I dear not tell my mum about that Mallowpuff! She would say it was a waste!Mallowpuffs dnt last 10mins in our hse! My mum raids them before they even get to the fridge! :)
