When I was young I couldn't pronounce my "r's" so the word squirrel became "squiddle" which, in turn, became my parents' nickname for me. Seven years ago when we emigrated from South Africa to NZ, we made the most fantastic discovery, namely Squiggles biscuits. Imagine my amusement on receiving a thank-you note from my parents in Botswana for the Squiggles I'd sent them for Christmas saying: "Thanks for the Squiggles Squiddle".
