Mum always used to bring along a trusty box of Griffins Samplers on our family road trips. We would sit in the van and they would sit in the caravan fridge taunting us throughout the trip. When we finally got to our destination (after about 50 'are we there yets?') we would be allowed to chose a 'plain' and a 'chocolate' one. There was always fierce debate about whether the pink ones are considered plain or chocolate. The last ones left without fail where the Gingernuts and the Krispie's. Just like when you are the last person to get picked for the school sports team - the rejection!

We did that too

My family ALWAYS used to fight over Sampler boxes - and the same old argument - were the pink waqfer ones plain or fancy - coz they weren't chocolate, did that make them plain? But they were fancier than the plain ones so did that make them fancy?
Also, it was a bit of an issue how the "1x Plain vs 1x Fancy" ruledidn't seem to apply to Dad!

i do that to
