I love to eat Griffens Melting Moments biscuits...I discovered them when I was pregnant and one packet did not last long in my hands ha ha...
I was pregnant last summer and it was really warm and my melting moments were often soft in my pantry so I decided to keep my Melting Moments in the fridge.....When the biscuits were kept in the fridge, I found the middle icing of the Melting Moments tastes soooo delicious when chilled...I developed a fantastic way to eat the Melting Moments to really savour the sweet chilled middles...
I eat round the outside of both of the shortcake biscuits being very careful not to eat any of the middle butter icing...Then I was left with a chilled middle which was sweet and tasty. The cold icing melting in my warm mouth was just decadence! When you're pregnant - eating is pretty much your only fun, let me tell you but I didn't want to put on too much weight but I still wanted to enjoy a sweet treat! At only 380kj a melting moment - I could eat a couple and not worry about stacking on the pounds!
My daughter is now 8 months old and I still eat Melting Moments from the fridge! (probably not as much though haa ha) I'm back to the 56kg I weighed before I had my daughter so the Melting Moments haven't weighed me down!!!
Thanks for making the best biscuits in New Zealand!
