How to shoot and upload video

Shooting and uploading video is easy. To start with you’ll need a device that can capture digital video like a video camera, digital camera, mobile phone or even a webcam.

Once you have one of these devices all you need to do is start recording your story. For detailed information on how to do this, simply follow the manufacturer’s manual provided with your device.

Once you have created your video you will need to transfer this to your computer, save it to your desktop or hard drive and then upload it to the Bite Sized stories website using the add a story link.

What video file formats can I upload?

You can upload videos in the following file formats: .mov, .avi, .mpg, .mpeg and .wmv.

How to upload images

You can take a photo with a digital camera, mobile phone or webcam. Some video cameras can also take still photos. For more information on the specifics of taking photos on these devices please refer to the manufacturer's product manual.

Once you have taken a photo you will need to copy this to your computer, save it to your desktop or hard drive and then upload it to the Bite Sized stories website using the add a story link.

What image file formats can I upload?

You can upload images in the following file formats: GIF (.gif), JPEG (.jpg)

Remember to keep the file size of your photos or videos as small as possible to make them easier to upload - a limit of 2Mb has been put on the images that can be uploaded to this website.
